Privacy policy

Videos and images you add are read from disk by the browser and processed in the page. They are not transmitted to this site, and there is no server here capable of receiving them — the site is a set of static files.

We cannot see your files, cannot recover them, and hold no copy. Closing the tab ends their existence outside your own disk.

• No accounts, sign-in, or email collection.
• No analytics of any kind — no Google Analytics, no privacy-friendly alternative, none.
• No cookies, and no localStorage used for tracking.
• No advertising, and no third-party scripts, pixels or embedded fonts.
• No selling or sharing of data, because none is collected to sell.

Being honest about this matters more than claiming a clean sweep. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, and like every web host, Cloudflare records standard request information: IP address, timestamp, the URL requested, user agent, and response status. This happens at the network layer for every site on the internet and is not something a static site can switch off.

We do not query these logs, connect them to anything, or use them to build any profile. They contain requests for pages and for the encoder — never file contents, because file contents are never sent.

Cloudflare's handling of that data is governed by their own policy: Cloudflare privacy policy.

A service worker caches the page and the conversion engines so the tool keeps working offline. That cache lives in your browser, contains only program code, and never contains your files. Clearing site data in your browser removes it.

Photos carry EXIF metadata including GPS coordinates. Metadata removal is on by default, so converted images lose it unless you choose otherwise. That choice is yours and is made in the interface, not for you. More on what EXIF contains →
